UNDRR conducted a two-day training on “Urban Resilience and Making Cities Resilient 2030” in cooperation with the Office of Civil Defense in the Philippines from 19 October 2022.

The strategic location of the city makes it part of one of the most important land corridors of the country, making it one of the main industrial centers of the Coffee Axis of Colombia.

The project consists of a series of plans that, together, seek to raise awareness of disaster risk reduction and climate resilience.

Mexico City has sought in recent years to break this historical cycle of risk creation in order to respond to the current climate crisis.

Two municipalities will be selected this year to receive technical support in the preparation and analysis of their Local Resilience Plan.
