Pathways to Resilience: Stories from MCR2030 Cities showcases real-world examples from sub-national governments participating in the Making Cities Resilient 2030 (MCR2030) initiative. These stories are drawn from the insights shared by cities on the MCR2030 dashboard, where local governments record and share their actions, initiatives, and progress along the MCR2030 Resilience Roadmap.
This publication features 28 case studies from cities across all regions: Phuentsholing (Bhutan); Aracaju, Blumenau, Cachoeira do Sul, Fortaleza, State of Rio de Janeiro, and Vinhedo (Brazil); Peñaflor and Pelluhue (Chile); Facatativá, Madrid, Pereira, and Santiago de Cali (Colombia); Cannes (France); GIFT City (India); Autlán de Navarro (Mexico); Belauri and Suryodaya (Nepal); Baguio (Philippines); Incheon Metropolitan City and Yongin Special City (Republic of Korea); Al Madinah (Saudi Arabia); Talad (Thailand); L’viv and Mykolaiv (Ukraine); and Kampala (Uganda).
