Resilience Hubs in Action
Resilience Hubs in Action, brings together a selection of good practices shared by Resilience Hubs from the Americas and the Caribbean. The cases show how cities’ commitments translate into concrete action: early warning systems, local governance, territorial planning, nature-based solutions, education, inclusion, financial protection, the recovery of public spaces, and community strengthening. The sequence of experiences was designed as a regional journey through different ways of building local resilience. Rather than presenting the cases as isolated examples or fixed categories, the compendium invites readers to move across complementary approaches and recognize how each practice contributes a different dimension to a shared purpose: reducing risk, protecting communities, and strengthening local public management. This cross-reading reinforces the value of peer exchange and offers lessons that can inform adaptation in other territories.
